Celtic Shores — Hole #5: Par 5

By • Category: Celtic Shores

This undulating par 5 offers you a good chance at eagle early in the round.  If you can’t get over the sand to the top of the hill by hitting straight ahead, rotate left or right to play a high-teed A1 or C3 drive for extra distance to get up there.  Here’s an example hole-out.  And here’s another from a fairway spot to the right in front of an adjacent trap.

Another option is to use the layup spot to the left, short of the sand, to bring in a wood from there — here’s a double eagle from that spot.

Here’s another layup spot tough to stick, but it can reward you with a 3-wood approach given a tough setup off the tee.
