Highland Links — Hole #16: Par 3
By Golden Tee Fan • Category: Highland Links •This hole can be brutal with a headwind or a tough pin placement. Rock is long, meaning you’ll bounce back short.
From the center box, this 6-iron played a small cut into a headwind and sucked back into a front pin. This 8-iron floated over to a left pin. And this 9-iron banked off the back wall into a back pin. Here’s another 9-iron that bounced off the wall twice and trickled back into a front pin.
Here’s an ace from the front-right box. Here’s another to a right pin. And check out this amazing 4-hybrid to counteract a headwind, wow.
Coming in sideways seems to help counteract the nasty up-12 slope — here’s another example curving into a right pin.
Here’s a nice shot from the back-right box that used a little bank off the back. This one is amazing — off the top of the back rock, right into the cup!
This tee shot fell off down to the right, but check out the incredible save!
